The
Kentucky Horse Park is pretty nice. Farms, white fences, hourse and barns make great
pictures.
Henry Clay house in Ashland -
history and gardens.
Lexington
Cumberland Falls State Park south of Lexington. The spray from the falls make a rainbow
during the day and at night when there is a full moon or nearly
one you can see a Moonbow.
Keeneland go to the races.
Covington area back roads for farms.
also Devou Park is a great location
for Cincinnati skyline shot.
Also don't forget the cathedral.
Natural Bridge State Park hike to Natural Bridge.
Red River Gorge
Custer State Park there are a lot of arches in the park.
Lexington on the corner of Main and Midland Streets life sized bronze statue of horses and
jockeys racing.

Harrodsburg has an old fort that was started by Daniel Boone with people dressed up in the period.
Kincaid Lake State Park
Berea College Forest just east of Berea, Kentucky
Fall Colors Peak: Mid-October. In Eastern Kentucky from Corbin take US-25E to Cumberland
Gap National Historical Park. Stop at Pinnacle Overlook great view of Kentucky, Tennessee,
and Virginia. Also from Morehead Take US-60 west to Kentucky 801 then on to Cave Run Lake
back on Kentucky 519.
In North Central Kentucky, between Louisville and Carrollton take US-42.
Between Lexington and Russell Springs take US-68 on in to Harrodsburg continuing on US-127
to Lake Cumberland.
In South Central Kentucky take the drive
from Somerset to Big South Fork National River Louisiana along the east side of Lake Cumberland.
Stop and photograph the the fall colors reflecting off Lake Cumberland. Take Big South Fork
Scenic Railway to the bridge over Big South Fork.
In western Kentucky try US-60 Owensboro along the Ohio River past Hardinsburg to Kentucky 79
on in to Rough River Dam State Resort Park. Also try Dawson Springs. For a loop
tour start on Kentucky-109 through the Pennyrile Forest to Hopkinsville, then on US-68 to
Russellville, continuing on US-431 north of Lake Malone. Then return on Interstate 24
through Land Between the Lakes.
